THE NOVALYTE STORY
NOVALYTE is a family owned and operated company based out of San Diego, California. Nova Lyte was started with an idea from my son Kingson, who was 7 at the time. We regularly come up with fun DIY projects to work on in our spare time. And while trying to figure out a cool way to make a piece of "Naruto" wall art for his room, he was very adamant about the piece being able to light up and glow at night. Little did we know that this incident would lead to our very first Nova Lyte product.
Why NOVALYTE?
Our son Kingson has always been fascinated by the stars and the sky above. It’s no wonder he wanted to make our very first art piece of “Naruto” light up and glow at night. From the word Nova which means “a transient astronomical event that causes the sudden appearance of a bright, apparently ‘new’ star”...Novalytes came to light!
Family friends who come over our house started to notice the “Naruto” wall art and they all got fascinated. They started asking questions and one by one they asked us to create one for them as a gift to their kids, friends and family. We gladly accepted and delivered more improved and quality products to them.
They started referring us to their friends and soon even strangers started ordering Customized LED wall art for them, for their business logos and for gift-givings.
Later on, we discovered one of the reasons our family friends got fascinated with our very first Novalyte project - “Naruto”. It was because they saw how happy our son was when something customized was handcrafted and made exactly as he wanted it to be.
The experience of creating the first Novalyte project with my son has not only made our bond stronger. We were also able to discover a greater purpose - giving light to people’s lives by bringing their imagination to life!

“Bring Your Imagination To Life!” This is the prevailing mantra for everything we do at NOVALYTE. Basically, when we started the company, all we wanted to do was bring light to people’s lives by bringing their imagination into life. And we wanted to do that by creating customized wall arts that make you feel alive and cared for.
On any given day you might see my mother Esabel (who is a United States Marine Corps veteran) assembling signs in one room, my son Kingson working on a project in another room, and me (Dante) designing signs for our amazing customers.
It is then our hope that the spirit of our mission carries over to you and your loved ones who get hold of our products. We believe we’re doing this for a reason and purpose. And it is our hope that when you see one of our arts lighting up your wall, you feel a sense of belongingness and know that even in the darkest of times, there will always be light. And always remember, it’s only during the night that you can see the stars shining up above.
